Abstract

The gross morphology and duration of various stages of life history has been recorded for three species viz., lime blue, Chilades lajus lajus (Cramer), the lime butterfly Papilio (Princeps) demoleus Linnaeus and the common Mormon Papilio polytes Linnaeus infesting Citrus species in Punjab. The larval and oviposition behaviour have been studied along with nectar food plants of adults.
