Abstract
Genus Spindasis Wallengren is represented by five species vulcanus Fabricius, ictis Hewitson, elwesi Evans, nipalicus Moore and elima Moore from north-west India. During the course of present studies the male and female genitalia of these species has been examined and key to species has been constructed by adding characters of genitalic organs besides the other morphological characters. The generic diagnosis has also been updated. The species Spindasis ictis and S. elima are being reported from plains of Punjab for the first time.
