Abstract

The 2nd instar of S. litura reared on castor treated with N. rileyi 1 × 102 spores ml−1 recorded cent percent mortality followed by S. litura on groundnut (91.66%) and tomato (83.33%). The larval mortality was negatively correlated with the age of the larvae and positively correlated with concentration of N. rileyi. When ditterent instars of treated S. litura fed with castor, groundnut and tomato leaves lower incubation period was recorded with castor followed by groundnut and tomato. Incubation period shows negative correlation with concentration of N. rileyi. Pupal mortality and malformed adults shows positive correlation with concentration of N. rileyi.
