Abstract

The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of temperature and time-dependent exposure of UV radiations on two isolates each of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae. The two isolates of M. anisopliae viz., UM1 and AR1 were found to be resistant to these external abiotic stress factors when compared to the B.bassiana isolates in the range of experimental conditions used. As a conclusion, these stress tolerant isolates of M. anisopliae hold high affirmations for commercial market.
