Abstract

Spring tails (Collembola) which belong to Apterygota group, exhibit great phenotypic variation due to geological and environmental factors. Tomocerus bajalis (sp. nov.) has been collected under stones from Sutlaz valley, Kulu. This species differs from its closely related species Tomocerus necolate in the piculier structure of Dens, heavily covered setae and photoreceptor Ocelli.
