Abstract

Six insecticidal treatments viz., clothianidin 50WDG under three doses@ 90,105 & 120g/ha., thiacloprid 240 SC@ 150g/ha., thiamethoxam 25WG@ 150g/ha. and imidacloprid 70 WDG@ 50 g/ha, were evaluated at three levels of population of tea mosquito bug, Helopeltis theivora Waterhouse in tea gardens at Dooars in West Bengal from the last week of July to first week of October during three consecutive years viz., 2007, 2008 and 2009. Results revealed that clothianidin 50 WDG @ 120 g/ha. showed superiority over the other insecticides.
