The population of jute yellow mite were profoundly influenced by different abiotic parameters where, higher trend of previous minimum temperature enhanced, larval, quiescent, male and female population. Maximum temperature of last week enhanced the larval population. Wind velocity of previous 3rd or 4th week's reduced the abundance except for females. Quiescent population was reduced by last week's rainfall whereas, past 3rd week's rainfall enhanced the female count. RH of previous 2nd week sometimes reduced the female abundance.
