Population dynamics of yellow mite, Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks) (Acari: Tarsonemidae) on different cultivars of jute (Corchorus spp. L.) in relation to some abiotic parameters

The population of jute yellow mite were profoundly influenced by different abiotic parameters where, higher trend of previous minimum temperature enhanced, larval, quiescent, male and female population. Maximum temperature of last week enhanced the larval population. Wind velocity of previous 3^rd or 4^th week's reduced the abundance except for females. Quiescent population was reduced by last week's rainfall whereas, past 3^rd week's rainfall enhanced the female count. RH of previous 2^nd week sometimes reduced the female abundance.
