Abstract

The foregut of Orthaga exvinacea at its pupal stages is a fine thread like tube. The crop is less pronounced in early pupal stage. Histologically the wall of the foregut is composed of muscle layers, basement membrane, epithelium as an amorphous layer without any cell demarcation and intima.
