Abstract

A feld experiment was conducted to evaluate some insecticides, biopesticides and bioagents against sucking pests of okra for developing IPM in okra. Seed treated with thiamethoxam 70 WS 0.3% followed by release of Chrysoperla carnea @ 10,000 frst instar larvae/ha + Trichogramma chilonis @ 1.5 lakh/ha + mechanical collection and Bt @ 1 kg/ha spraying gave effective protection of okra crop against aphids and jassids infestation and populations were kept below the economic threshold level up to 14 days after treatment.
