The larvae of the silver line hairstreak Spindasis vulcanus (fabricius) have been found to infest an ornamental plant, Clerodendrum increme. The dimentions and durations of various life stages of the silver line hairstreak have been studied besides recording mymecophily and a larval parasitoid.
