Abstract

Imidacloprid 0.004 percent was the most effective treatment for the control of okra aphids and jassids. Spinosad 0.005% followed by indoxacarb 0.01% and profenofos 0.08% were the most effective insecticides in controlling okra shoot and fruit borer. Highest yield of healthy okra fruit was observed in spinosad @0.005 percent. The highest incremental cost benefit ratio was recorded by the application of spinosad @0.005 percent followed by profenofos @0.08 percent.
