Abstract

Three different species of chironomous have been identified in diffent ecosystem of Pune namely, C.ramosus, C. circumdatus, C. striatipennis. In the present study, the cynocobalamine stress in vivo resulted in induction of puffs on 5D region of first chromosomal arm. Thus, 5D locus of Ist arm is sensitive to cynacobolamine.
