Results showed that, LK-861 and JK-276-4 were resistant to aphids; LK-861 and Mallika non Bt were resistant to thrips; and RAH-100, 4085, DHY-286 sel and G cot 16 were resistant to leaf hopper and recorded lowest injury index due to presence of higher quantity of biochemical components like tannins, phenols and gossypol. The genotypes LK-861, Mallika non Bt, A cola-2, CNHPY-6 and CPD-431 were found to be resistant to whiteflies.
