Assessment of sensitivity of Acremonium zeylanicum (Petch) W. Gams and H. C. Evans to different Agrochemicals
Abstract
Results indicated that the fungus Acremonium zeylanicum was highly sensitive to pyrethroid, cypermethrin (73.12% growth inhibition) followed by organochlorines viz. dicifol and endosulfan and organophpsphate chlorpyriphos fungus was less sensitive to imidacloprid and thiamethoxam (30.64 and 29.58%, respectively). Application of fungicides inhibited the growth of fungus which ranged from 62.38 to 83.35 percent.
