Abstract

Results indicated that the fungus Acremonium zeylanicum was highly sensitive to pyrethroid, cypermethrin (73.12% growth inhibition) followed by organochlorines viz. dicifol and endosulfan and organophpsphate chlorpyriphos fungus was less sensitive to imidacloprid and thiamethoxam (30.64 and 29.58%, respectively). Application of fungicides inhibited the growth of fungus which ranged from 62.38 to 83.35 percent.
