Abstract

Dalbergia sissoo (Roxb.) (Leguminosae) has been recorded as the larval host plant of Dichomeris eridantis Meyrick. The gross morphology and duration of various life history stages have been recorded. The larval and oviposition behaviour has been studied in details. A Hymenopteran parasitoid has been observed to attack the pupae of the species under reference. The chaetotaxy of last instar larva has been studied in details.
