Abstract

Incidence of two internal feeders of Pigeonpea, Melanagromyza obtusa Malloch and Apion clavipes Gerst. was found to be relatively high on the pods of top tire of the plant canopy and infestation was more copious from the moderately developed to mature pods and increased as the level of insects increased on the same pod.
