Different cultural practices reduced the infestation rate of Apriona germari Hope (coleoptera: cerambycidae: Laminnae) among mulberry genotypes in Jammu and kashmir. Removal of brood trees reduced the borer infestation by 59.65% as compared to control farm and 56.76% in comparison to pretreatment infestation of treatment farm. Summer pruning reduced the infestation rate significantly. Among mulberry genotypes chakmajra cultivar offered slight resistance to A. germari attack.
