The larvicidal potential of thiacloprid against Anopheles stephensi, Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus exhibits the Lc50 values ranging from 2.838 to 5.290 ppm. However, thiacloprid was highly efficient against all the tested target species of mosquitoes.
