Abstract

The results showed two phases of pterygote insect populations. One registering the highest peak during monsoon months (August to October) and the other showing the sharp decline during summer. Multiple factors were responsible for the diversity of pterygotes. Soil pterygote insects contribute to the healthy growth of the agriculture and are potentially valuable for monitoring the agricultural health.
