results showed that crude plant extracts of C. citratus and O. gratissimum were most potent with mortality rate of callosobruchus maculatus 100% and 93.3%, respectively at 1.50% (w/v). Z. officinale recorded 40% and G. kola 38% at day 3. C. citratus also suppressed adult emergence significantly by 0.33 at 1.50% (w/v), as compared with O. gratissimum and G. kola. C. citratus reduced seed damage to three mean perforation on seed followed by O. gratissimum with five mean perforations, G. kola and Z. officinale recorded nine and seven mean perforations respectively, all at 1.50% (w/v).
