Population dynamics of L. erysimi and its parasitoid D. rapae was found to be influenced by various weather parameters. Maximum and minimum temperature, average wind speed and bright sunshine hours had significant positive correlation with number of L. erysimi individuals/sampling unit, whereas percent L. erysimi parasitization by D. rapae/sampling unit was positively correlated with maximum and minimum temperature, bright sunshine hours and evaporation. The best fitted power regression equation indicated that up to 85% of variability of L. erysimi population could be explained by weather parameters as compared to 79% of per cent parasitisation of L. erysimi due to D. rapae.
