water bugs are the components of a pond ecosystem. the water bugs that are considered under the present study are backswimmer, water boatman, giant water bug, water scorpion, pigmy back swimmer, water measures and water strider. It was observed that the behaviour of the water bugs to the irradiation was exponential with respect to time.
