First report of a species Astratodina inermis Mosely (trichoptera: Limnephilidae: Astratodina) from the Indian Himalaya along with a checklist to its family

Abstract

A new record of the genus Astratodina Mosely namely Astratodina inermis Mosely, 1936, is first time reported from India (Jammu & Kashmir). this species was earlier reported from China, Korea and Pakistan. with this new addition this genus is now represented by 3 valid species from India. An updated checklist is provided to its family containing 6 genera and 37 species from India along with type depositories and new additional localities of some species collected during collection surveys to different regions of Indian Himalayas.
