Abstract

A new species of Sphegigaster spinola has been described and illustrated from srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Key to Indian species has been provided. the new species differs from rest in having, antennae inserted at lower level of eyes; scutellum without frenum; gastral petiole 4.0 times as long as wide; first tergite of gaster one fourth of abdomen.
