Abstract

The results showed that the V-1 mulberry variety was most suitable for commercial silkworm rearing in Maharashtra. It was superior in respect of weight of 10 mature larvae, single cocoon weight, single shell weight, cocoon yield, filament length, disease incidence, larval duration, and mulberry leaf yield and showed rearing most profitable.
