Hyblaea puera and Diacrisia obliqua are two important pests of the tree component of agroforestry systems in Mizoram showing 2-generation in a year. H. puera is the skeletonizer of Tectona grandis, an important timber species, and D. obliqua is a pest of Clerodendrum colebrookianum, an important tree component of home gardens with medicinal properties. Seasonal difference in the length of life stages of the two species are distinct.
