Abstract

Studies on the effects of different plant varieties on the biology of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassiucae revealed the significant differences in biological parameters of different coloured varieties of knol khol and plants of cabbage, cauliflower and kale. Leaves of different texture i.e. smooth of cauliflower and hairy of turnip and different phases i.e. vegetative & flowering of cabbage do influence the biology of B. brassicae.
