Abstract

The protein extracts through salt fractionation including whole egg white disrupted developmental cycle of insect by prolonging the duration of the larvae to migrate into next stage of life cycle. The maximum larvae mortality and delay in total developmental time was recorded in PPT-I Protein extract obtained through salt fractionation treatment. As per analysis, decrease in tolerance was observed in sequence: adults > pupae > larvae.
