Abstract

The oviposition preferences by the adult female of Eurydema pulchrum have been observed with the help of screen cages. The observations revealed that adult females of Eurydema pulchrum (Westwood) have distinct preference for fresh, undamaged intact leaves for oviposition over macerated damaged and used leaves of cruciferous plants.
