Abstract

The organically produced foliar sprays viz., vermiwash, biodigester and panchagavya were sprayed at 1, 3 and 5 per cent on M-5 mulberry on 15 and 30th day of pruning. application of Vermiwash at 5 per cent significantly stimulated plant growth, increased leaf yield and showed presense of a biochemical constituent of mulberry as compared to vipul and unsprayed leaves. The silkworm growth, cocoon and silk traits were correspondingly increased due to foliar spray of vermiwash.
