Bio-efficacy of some promising insecticides against stem fly and girdle beetle of soybean

Abstract

Bio-efficacy of triazophos 20 EC alongwith chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC, chlorpyriphos 20 SC, spinosad 45 SC, indoxacarb 14.5 SL, flubendiamide 39.35 SC and novaluron 10 EC against girdle beetle and stemfly was carried out. Triazophos 40 EC @ 800 ml/ha was found most superior in reducing the damage of both girdle beetle and stemfly. The highest yield (2061 kg/ha) was obtained from this treatment.
