Four genera viz. Tyeidae, Cunaxidae, Stigmaeidae, Bdellidae pertaining to the predatory group of mites were collected during surveys in coconut ecosystem. Among these genera focus was on the predatory mite Eusieus sp which have been collected from the coconut leaves.
