Bioassay revealed that L. conjesta had more sensitivity to tested insecticides than A. craccivora. Acetamiprid was the most effective against A. craccivora followed by chlorpyrifos, while emamectin benzoate was not that effective. The type of fertilizer did not effect the chlorpyrifos efficiency against L. conjesta and its degradation. After 21 days for application, the percent loss of chlorpyrifos residues in green pods ranged from 97.2 to 98.3%. Peeling process of pods could remove 97.3% of initial deposits. The preharvest intervals (PHI) for green pods more than 21 days, while green seeds could be safely used at 15 days.
