Longevity, fecundity and hatching of Agrotis ipsilon (Hufn.) on different test foods

Experiments was conducted to quantity the effect of different nectar substitutes on adult male of A. ipsilon. The highest female longevity, of 13^th days was recorded on honey 10% followed by male longevity 10.0 days. While highest fecundity was recorded with glucose 10% followed by sucrose 20%. Maximum hatching was recorded in with glucose 10%, followed by honey.
