Abstract

Testis of Eurybrachys tomentosa consisted of about 60 slender vermiform follicles marked by pink colouration in fresh specimens. The vas deferens was a highly convoluted slender tube. Pair of mesadene glands of vermiform and highly convoluted nature was considered to be the accessory glands. There was no bulbus ejaculatorius. The ductus ejaculatorius was a straight tube that opens into the intromittent organ. The histology of testis showed a distinct apical cell complex which was considered to be peculiar to E. tomentosa. The varying degrees of secretary activity in the segments of the tubular accessory glands suggested no histomorphological significance in E. tomentosa. There was total absence of bulbus ejaculatorius.
