Studies on the seasonal variations in population of four species of Oxya viz. Oxya japonica, Oxya hyla, Oxya velox and Oxya fuscovittata commonly found during mid-July, August and September in Kashmir valley revealed that the population of hoppers and adults depend on the availability of food and optimum temperature.
