The girdle beetle, Obereopsis brevis infestation started in 30th MW (1.36%) and reached to 61.22% at harvest whereas stem tunneling due to stemfly at physiological maturity was 59.45%. Green semiloooper, Gesonia gema recorded a peak of 3.00 larvae/mrl during 34th MW. The infestation of Obereopsis brevis in relation to bright sunshine hours (0.714*) was positively significant and negatively significant with wind velocity (−0.674*).
