Pupae of Corcyra cephalonica, a laboratory host for the mass production of bioagents was found to be naturally attacked by a chalcid, Antrocephalus mitys more in the cooler months. A culture of C. cephalonica was maintained on maize diet kept in boxes. the number of adults of A. mitys emerging from the boxes was recorded once every forty days for four years. results revealed that the parasitoid appeared each year in the first week of September, increased gradually till a peak was reached in november-December and started to decline with the onset of high temperatures in April.
