Efficacy of different insecticides against green semilooper (Diachrysia orichalcea) on Soybean

Abstract

In 2-year trial lowest population of green semilooper was recorded in 29-day treatment with phorate 10 G @ 10 kg/ha followed by carbosulfan 25 DS @ 20 g/kg seed, thimethoxam 75 wS @ 5 g/kg seed, and carbofuran 3 G @ 10 kg/ha (before-sowing). At second treatment Triazophos 40 Ec was superior followed by dimethoate 30 Ec, phorate 10 G and carbofuran 3 G.
