Abstract

The losses caused by girdle beetle decreased with increasing crop age. At 10 per cent level of girdle beetle infestation the per cent yield losses observed in no. of pod/plant were 3.75, 1.88, 0.30 & 0.12 per cent at 30, 37, 44 and 51 days after germination (dAG) respectively. upto 10 per cent stem tunneling caused by stemfly the losses observed in no. of pod/plant, no. of seed/plant and weight of seed/plant were 14.09, 22.71 and 34.16 per cent respectively.
