Abstract

Six sorghum genotypes including 3 varieties viz., cSV-20, cSV-22, Maldandi and 3 hybrids viz., cSh17, cSh-23 and cSh-9 were screened for their relative susceptibility against Sitophilus oryzae. the grain damage percentage ranged from 39.86 (cSh9) to 75.73 (Maldandi) and the grain weight loss percentage ranged from 3.1 (cSh9) to 11.8 (Maldandi). Amongst the six genotypes variety, Maldandi was found most susceptible and hybrid, cSh-9 was least susceptible.
