Abstract

In 2-year study maximum population of O. brevis (19.66 per cent, 1st year and 24.7 per cent, 2nd year) was recorded on soybean in 33rd and 40th meteorological week. During 1st year incidence of girdle beetle was high and started in 32nd MW (0.83 per cent), then increased gradually and reached to peak of 35.92 per cent in 40th and 41st MW. Losses caused by girdle beetle were also influenced by crop stage and different infestation levels.
