the toxicity of phosphine to immature stages of khapra beetle, Trogoderma granarium (Everts) was studied at 25, 30 and 35ºC temperature. Among the larval and pupal stages, first instar larvae were found to be highly susceptible to phosphine. The final instar larvae were found to be least susceptible whereas pupal stage was moderately susceptible to phosphine. A positive correlation between toxicity of phosphine and temperature was observed for all the developmental stages.
