The incidence trend of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Aran-Bidgol city in Iran (2002–2015)

Abstract

The results of this study showed that from 2818 patients with leishmaniasis, 1340 were women (47.55%) and 1478 (52.44%) were male. Further, there was infection in all months of the year, maximum being in October and lowest in February. The most occupational type of leishmaniasis disease during the past thirteen years was is housekeepers and workers.
