Abstract

A field experiment was conducted with 4 insecticides, 2 bio-pesticides and 1 botonical (NSKE) along with control, at different dosages. Four sprays were undertaken at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after sowing of Bt-cotton using manually hand operated knapsack sprayer. Results indicated that application of flonicamid 50 WG @ 100 g ai/ha recorded lower number of thrips per leaf (0.9), Leaf hopper (1.0) and white flies (1.8), while untreated control recorded higher number of thrips (4.5), leaf hopper (6.2) and whiteflies (31.0)per leaf
