Life-fecundity of Cryptolaemus montrouzieri (mulsant) on Maconellicoccus hirsutus (green) at different temperature levels

Abstract

The net reproductive rate (R0) of C. montrouzieri to the tune of 19.83, 75.76, 57.10 and 30.86 females per female per generation, the precise generation time (T) to the extent of 170.69, 73.75, 61.28 and 37.69 days and innate capacity for increase in number (rm) to the tune of 0.0175, 0.0590, 0.0660 and 0.0910 females per female per day were observed at 20°C, 25°C, 30°C and 35°C temperatures, respectively.
