Abstract

The aphid population showed negatively significant correlation with minimum temperature. Similarly negatively significant correlation of syrphid fly maggot was noticed with minimum temperature. However, it was positively significant with aphid. The ladybird beetle population showed negative correlation with maximum and minimum temperature while positive with aphid population. The correlation between aphid and mummified aphid was positively significant. The high values of coefficient of determination showed that weather parameters and biotic factors (natural enemies) were the critical factors for abundance of population of aphid on cauliflower.
