Abstract

The mean awareness score of the housewives ranged from 0 to 12 and the mean score of 6.16 showed a moderate level of awareness in the women in this study. There was a significant relationship between the education level and the level of awareness and their attitudes. However, no significant relationship was found between the age and the level of awareness and attitude.
