Abstract

Evaluation of Achook @ 1500 ml/ha, Pestoneem @ 1500 ml/ha, Lastraw @ 1000 ml/ha, EMFPE (effective micro-organism fermented plant extract) @ 2500 ml/ha, Baba 10 EC @ 500 ml/ha, Lancergold (Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8) 51.8 SP @ 750 g/ha and one untreated plot was conducted against N. lugens. The pooled mean data of two sprays indicated that lancergold (Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8) 51.8 SP @ 750 g/ha performed significantly better than rest of the insecticidal treatments with minimum leaf damage. The highest grain yield 6.72 t/ha was obtained from the plots treated with lancergold (Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8) 51.8 SP and the percentage of avoidable yield loss ranged from 0.77–11.94% in different treatments, minimum being in Pestoneem and maximum in Lancergold respectively.
