Arithmetical assessment of the biodiversity of road side insects of Jabalpur city, Madhya Pradesh

Abstract

The current article summarize the biodiversity of different groups of road side insects of Jabalpur city in correlation with its arithmetical assessment to find out their distribution pattern in the microhabitats dented due to anthropogenic effect. During the study period, one new species of order Odonata and two new species of order Coleoptera were recorded. The present investigation is the first formal approach to study the biodiversity of roadside insects.
